‘Come September, you will be injured in school.’- The words of the psychic were echoing in my head, while bullets were flying everywhere. Some lunatic walked inside my school in Montreal, took out his semi-automatic and was shooting at random. Was this how I was going to die? And how did that old lady in Bulgaria know what was going to happen? Maybe this was my fate, after all?
I survived. My body wasn’t tremendously injured. But, my soul... They brought me to a psychologist... I was even more depressed after that... The healing was easy. All you have to know is where to go search for it. That’s why I left for Bulgaria, where the misadventures kept following one after another.
But if you want to know what happened, you’ll have to read the book...

After The After eBook Marty Gregor Eliza Grigorova Anton Krustev Reviews
Great book with surprising twists that kept my attention throughout the book.
The author writes about his life growing up and adjusting to life in Montreal, meeting friends, traveling back and forth to Europe and experiencing a tragic moment in his life that he will never forget. It’s at this moment that he really puts us in the front seat of his life.
What makes the book such a treat is the fact that the author doesn’t put any filter; he writes what he feels and goes through.
A few times I feel like his story didn’t flow as easily and I wish the author had put more depth into his friendships and relationships since it leaves a void between the reader and the book’s characters.
Overall, I sincerely enjoyed reading every page. I think this is a fine book, by a fine writer.
The other day I received a message from the author asking if I would provide an honest review of his book in exchange for a free copy. He was pleasant and well mannered, which also came across in his book. The best way to describe this book is an anecdotal autobiography. Nothing really seemed to flow well for me, and I do have to say that it would benefit from proper editting and proof reading. Having said that though the author's upbringing might hold partial responsibility. Born in Bulgaria, he and his family emigrated to Canada when he was 4 years old, they settled in Montreal which is French speaking but he went to and English speaking school.
I had high hopes for this book as the author would be visiting some of the same cities that I have been to. In reading the book though the author has been to bars and nightcubs in cities that I have been to. Even though I am a foreigner living in Bulgaria some of the Bulgarian anecdotes are accurately depicted, but others seemed to be missing entirely or just skimmed over.
I did want to enjoy this book, and was actually quite looking forward to reading it, but I do feel slightly let down by it. Reading the book you almost get to know koko (why was it not Koko) and some of his friends but there was just not enough 'flesh on the bones'.
Great easy read! Filled with many laughs .. Definitely recommend to all readers, it's a book filled with travelling tales and real life events.
